2010 Term dates for Kyabirwa Primary
School, Bujagali Falls - near Jinja.
These are the official dates when school is in session but many children
attend school during the holidays to try to ensure that they achieve the best
exam results they can. These are the children in classes P5, P6 and
P7.

Term one: 1st/February/2010 -23rd/April/2010
(b) Term two:
24th/May/2010 -13th/August/2010
(c) Term three: 6th/Sept/2010 -3rd/December/2010
Weather for the Jinja area
Jinja is at an altitude of 3,800 feet which ameliorates the temperature, so it doesn't vary much throughout the year. This means that, despite being almost on the Equator, temperatures are not as high as you would expect. In fact they are very pleasant between 24C and 32C. The weather is fine the vast majority of the time, but when it rains it's short and sharp - and very enjoyable for foreign visitors to see!
